During a recent meeting at the Peace Palace, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet affirmed the government’s full support for the prestigious event. He was visited by Maximillion Cooper, the Founder and CEO of Gumball 3000, who shared his enthusiasm for Cambodia’s rich culture, historic temples, and its tranquil ambiance which have significantly influenced his decision to include Cambodia in the rally route.
Gumball 3000, established in 1999 by the British entrepreneur Cooper, integrates the worlds of art, entertainment, and luxury lifestyle through high-profile events. Celebrating its silver jubilee, the Gumball 3000 Rally for 2024 is expected to attract participants and celebrities from over 50 countries, thereby placing Cambodia on the global stage.
Cambodia’s selection as a host nation is anticipated to provide a considerable boost to the local tourism sector, particularly benefiting regions like Siem Reap.
