Renowned Chinese actor Wang Hongyi, best known for his role in the TV series Wonderland: Indebted to Love, is currently in Cambodia filming his latest movie.
The rising star is working on a new film titled San Xian Mi Hui alongside actress Meng Ziyi, with production taking place in the picturesque province of Siem Reap.
Wang Hongyi made his acting debut in 2021 with the romantic drama Moonlight City, where he portrayed Xiaobai, a bookstore manager, starring alongside Yu Shuxin and Ding Yuxi. That same year, he took on the role of a young doctor in the classic drama Mo Ran.
By 2022, Wang had cemented his status in the industry with standout performances in popular dramas such as Who Rules the World, Lost You Forever, and Fairyland Romance. His growing acclaim earned him the prestigious 2023 Tencent Video Star Award for TV Drama of the Year.
In 2024, Wang continued his success with lead roles in Lost You Forever Season 2, where he played Chishui Fenglong, and The Legend of Heroes, in which he took on the character of Yang Kang.
Now, with his latest project in Cambodia, fans eagerly anticipate his next big-screen performance.
