In a symbol of ongoing diplomatic dialogue and cooperation, His Excellency KAN Pharidh, the Secretary of State, presided over a meeting with His Excellency SOK Piseth, Secretary-General and Vice Chairman of the Youth House for Cambodia-China Friendship, on October 23, 2024. The Youth House for Cambodia-China Friendship is a local non-profit dedicated to strengthening the ties between the two nations through various programs and initiatives.
The meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, was also representative of His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, emphasizing the importance of nurturing the bilateral relationships.
During the meeting, His Excellency SOK Piseth presented a comprehensive strategic plan that emphasized the vital role of education and leadership development in bolstering the relationship between Cambodia and China. He shared details about the organization’s intention to provide scholarships to Cambodian students for studies in China.
