Kuala Lumpur — Cambodia and the Russian Federation have reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors, marking another step forward in their enduring partnership.

The pledge was made during a meeting between Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and H.E. Alexei Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, held on the sidelines of the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

H.E. Overchuk emphasized that Cambodia remains a long-standing and trusted friend of Russia, highlighting decades of traditional relations between the two nations.
