A visiting U.S. congressional delegation has reiterated its commitment to fostering stronger diplomatic and economic ties between the United States and Cambodia.

Led by H.E. Jimmy Panetta, a Democratic Congressman from California, the delegation met with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet at the Peace Palace this afternoon. During the courtesy call, both sides acknowledged the steady progress in bilateral relations and explored opportunities to enhance cooperation in key sectors, including politics, trade, investment, education, health, national defense, security, and mine clearance.

In response, Prime Minister Hun Manet expressed gratitude for the U.S. government’s support in Cambodia’s socio-economic development efforts.

The visit underscores the significance of ongoing high-level engagements between the two countries, reinforcing efforts to elevate their partnership to new heights. The delegation also included H.E.
