In a significant diplomatic and economic engagement, Prime Minister Hun Manet of Cambodia led a high-level delegation to Singapore on Tuesday. This visit marks a pivotal step in deepening the multifaceted cooperation between Cambodia and Singapore, as both nations prepare to celebrate the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic relationship next year.

Accompanied by key officials including Sok Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), and Kith Meng, President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC), Prime Minister Hun Manet’s visit underscores the robust partnership between the two countries. The delegation was warmly received at Changi Airport by Dr. Tan See Leng, Singapore’s Minister of Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry, setting a positive tone for the discussions ahead.

Strategic Discussions and Agreements

The primary focus of Prime Minister Hun Manet’s visit is to engage in comprehensive talks with Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
