This inspiring pledge was made during a recent meeting between Mang Sinet, the Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province, and Wang Wenbin, the Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia. The discussions, held in Preah Sihanouk Province earlier this week, spotlighted a shared vision for progress and cooperation.
Ambassador Wang Wenbin lauded the impressive pace of development in Preah Sihanouk province, singling out its burgeoning infrastructure, robust economic growth, and flourishing tourism sector. He emphasized the deep-rooted friendship and collaboration between Cambodia and China, noting the strategic presence of Chinese consulates in Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap provinces.
Reiterating China’s unwavering support, Wang Wenbin promised to strengthen partnerships between Preah Sihanouk province and cities across China. Governor Mang Sinet warmly welcomed the Chinese delegation and expressed gratitude for their continued support. He assured the Ambassador that the request for visa exemptions to facilitate entry into Preah Sihanouk province would be conveyed to relevant authorities, further boosting tourism and collaboration.
