A United States Navy warship has docked at Cambodia’s Ream Naval Base, marking a new step in naval engagement between Cambodia and the United States. The visit highlights ongoing efforts by both countries to maintain cooperation and communication in the Indo-Pacific region.
The US Navy littoral combat ship, USS Cincinnati, arrived at the base in southwestern Cambodia for a scheduled port visit. Officials from both sides described the visit as routine and professional. It is the first visit by a US naval vessel to Ream Naval Base since recent upgrades were completed.
During the stay, the crew of the USS Cincinnati is taking part in planned activities with the Cambodian Navy. These include ship tours, courtesy meetings, and professional exchanges.
