Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received Mr. Zhang Chaomin, Chairman and CEO of Infinite Capital Holdings (ICAP), at the Peace Palace this afternoon.

During the meeting, Mr. Zhang Chaomin provided an overview of ICAP’s business operations, emphasizing the company’s investment focus on new materials, artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, and carbon fiber. He also expressed ICAP’s keen interest in exploring investment opportunities in Cambodia, particularly in the electric vehicle (EV) sector and the production of EV components.

Mr. Zhang highlighted Cambodia’s favorable investment environment, citing the nation’s political stability, sustained economic growth of approximately 6 percent despite global uncertainties, and its resilience in recovering from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prime Minister Hun Manet welcomed ICAP’s interest in Cambodia and reaffirmed the Royal Government’s commitment to fostering investments in the automotive component manufacturing sector and broader supply chains that serve domestic, regional, and global markets.

He encouraged ICAP to conduct in-depth studies and engage with relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions to gain a comprehensive understanding of government policies designed to support and attract investors. The Prime Minister emphasized Cambodia’s ongoing efforts to create a conducive investment climate, ensuring that businesses can thrive and contribute to the country’s economic development.
