Canadia Bank Wins Best Bank for Large Corporates Title at Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA — Canadia Bank, one of Cambodia’s largest commercial banks and its largest locally owned financial institution, has been named the Best Bank for Large Corporates in Cambodia at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026.

This recognition marks the fourth time the bank has earned this title since 2023. The award reflects Canadia Bank’s continued efforts to deliver financial solutions that help corporate clients strengthen financial resilience, optimize working capital, manage liquidity, and accelerate expansion.

Organized by Euromoney, a globally recognized financial publication, the Awards for Excellence evaluate banking institutions based on performance metrics, digital innovation, market presence, and service delivery.

Supporting Cambodia’s Core Economic Sectors

For more than three decades, Canadia Bank has provided institutional banking services across primary economic sectors in Cambodia. These industries include wholesale and retail, construction, real estate, infrastructure, agriculture, hospitality, garments, manufacturing, logistics, and aviation.

The bank utilizes a relationship-driven model designed to deliver tailored products to large local enterprises and multinational corporations.

By integrating financing, trade services, and advisory support, the bank assists institutional clients in improving operational efficiency and managing liquidity across complex supply chains.

Infrastructure Payments: Techo International Airport (KTI)

A significant project over the past year has been Canadia Bank’s role at Techo International Airport (KTI).

Serving as KTI’s exclusive merchant payment partner, Canadia Bank implemented a fully integrated cashless payment ecosystem across the facility. The infrastructure supports digital payment collection and transaction banking services for international brands, airlines, ground transport operators, and retail merchants operating inside the airport.

Investment in Digital Infrastructure and Governance

To streamline transaction banking for corporate treasury teams, Canadia Bank continues to upgrade its digital platforms. Modernizations include enhanced corporate internet banking portals, expanded open API integration, and real-time multicurrency payment processing.

Additionally, the institution has refined its sector-specific advisory coverage, client onboarding protocols, and account management models to accommodate evolving business demands.

Executive Statement:

Commenting on the award, Mr. Dominic Notario, Chief Executive Officer of Canadia Bank, stated:

“This award reflects the trust our customers place in us and reinforces our commitment to further deepening those relationships. With one of the largest and strongest corporate banking portfolios in Cambodia, we will continue providing a comprehensive suite of financial services… By combining our banking expertise with the strength of the Canadia Group ecosystem, we are uniquely positioned to deliver value beyond financing.”

Through its network and integration within the broader Canadia Group ecosystem, the bank continues to provide corporate clients with structured trade, liquidity management, and capital solutions throughout the region.
