These chefs have proven that Khmer cuisine is excellent one. See how they made their family and Cambodia proud. The Kimsans and Chanty had the incredible privilege of dazzling the evening of Cambodia Night at the World Economic Forum in Alphen Davos, Switzerland, by showcasing the rich flavors of Cambodian cuisines.

This year, the World Bridge Group’s Chairman, Neak Oknha Sear Rithy, organised Cambodia Night to showcase Cambodian products, particularly Khmer cuisine, to international dignitaries attending the World Economic Forum Summit in Davos, Switzerland.

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, presided over the auspicious event, also attended by His Excellency Lok Chumteav, a Royal Government of Cambodia official, and numerous world forum speakers.

On the occasion of Cambodia Night at the World Economic Forum in Daos, Switzerland, the Kimsan Twins and Chanthy, Chefs of Sombok Restaurant, Phnompenh which is run by all female staff, climbed another stair of success by promoting Cambodian cuisine to dignitaries such as Prime Minister Hun Sen and top leaders from across the world. They were not only delighted, but they also made the PM and Cambodia proud.

The Kimsan Twins and Chanthy said they’ve been attempting to revive Khmer cuisine for years, and their dinner with PM Hunsen on May 24th for CEOs and world leaders was memorable. “We wanted to tell the world about the diversity of Khmer food that can be elevated to fine dining,” they added. It was a “wonderful dinner,” according to one of the guests.

The meal which was cooked was inspired by authentic Khmer flavors. The food was influenced from the rich heritage and culture of Cambodia. The delectable repast was fit for a king. For the mouthwatering meal, the ingredients were taken from various parts of Cambodia.

Without a doubt, Cambodian cuisine has evolved to a new level. The Sombok Restaurant and these talented Chefs deserve credit for revolutionising Khmer cuisine and raising the stakes.
