Founded in 2017, Belaws is a one-stop service designed to assist entrepreneurs and corporations managing their legal, corporate and accounting matters. Belaws connects our clients with pre-vetted expert lawyers throughout our areas of operation and expertise by simply posting a request on our platform.

What do we do ?

Belaws’ experts offer legal, compliance, and corporate secretary services in Southeast Asia i.e all the legal expertises that companies require to run their business efficiently. Our lawyers offer pre-fixed fees which weeds out the unexpected costs that can be charged by traditional law firms. Written communication with lawyers is centralized on the Belaws platform. This eliminates email threads and you can easily track the progress of your request.

Having your own dashboard is therefore a way to create your own legal department online.

When did Belaws enter the Cambodian market ?

In August 2019, after two years of existence, Belaws entered the Cambodian market through a joint venture with the well-known local market entry and incubator company, Confluences.

La French Tech – APAC gathering 2022

Through this partnership, foreign companies wishing to tap into the Cambodian market can now benefit from an efficient single entry point. On the other hand, Cambodian companies can also take advantage of Belaws’ presence in Southeast Asia, i.e. Thailand, Vietnam or Singapore, to expand their business abroad.

In summary, Belaws’ expansion into Cambodia was a logical extension of the company’s development and has been successful, with many clients expressing interest and satisfaction with the service.

Project focus:

Being an active player in the Cambodian tech ecosystem, Belaws is involved in many projects dedicated to digital innovation

  • French Tech APAC Gathering:

Belaws’ Business Development executive, Clément Barbier, who works in Phnom Penh is the vice-president of the French Tech Cambodia and was a major contribution to the success of the French Tech APAC gathering in June 2022 hosted by the Cambodia Academy of Digital Economy, which was a great highlight for the potential of the Cambodian digital economy.

  • Belaws and Clevereen partnership: a gateway to the metaverse:

Belaws has a strong interest in web3 projects and wants to offer clients a legal expertise in line with its spirit.

Clément Barbier biz dev executive – French Tech APAC Gathering 2022

Aware of the importance of legal structuring of metaverse projects and the convenience of having both the gaming expertise and legal expertise in the same place, Belaws created a partnership with Clevereen, a video game studio which creates immersive Metaverse & Gaming Experience, with an office in Phnom Penh.

Through this partnership, both companies now offer a package for a smooth incorporation in the metaverse.
