The Tennis Federation of Cambodia (TFC) will host the National Tennis Championships 2024 at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh from January 14 to 17.
Mr. Chea Pov, Deputy Secretary General of the TFC, announced the event, highlighting that athletes from clubs across Cambodia’s capital and provinces are expected to participate.
The championship aims to enhance the skills of U18 athletes while identifying top talents for Cambodia’s representation at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand and the 2029 Asian Youth Games in Cambodia.
Mr. Pov also urged private companies to sponsor the tournament, emphasizing that increased support would allow the event to grow larger and become more competitive.
The competition will feature four disciplines: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
