Prime Minister Hun Manet’s Strategy to Attract New Investors and Enhance Private Sector Solutions for National Development

At the inauguration of the Cambodia Confederation of Investors Association (CCIA) at Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Centre, Prime Minister Hun Manet articulated a resolute commitment to attracting new investors and establishing an effective private sector problem-solving working group.

In his address, the Prime Minister underscored the importance of nurturing existing investors, thereby creating an environment conducive to attracting new entrants. The Royal Government’s strategic approach involves amplifying positive impacts by implementing incentive policies and allocating budgets to support pivotal sectors, building upon initiatives from previous mandates. Furthermore, the current administration has implemented reforms aimed at simplifying processes, reducing bureaucratic hurdles, and maximizing technological resources.

In response to challenges faced by the private sector, the Prime Minister advocated for the prompt resolution of issues through regular forums and inclusive working groups involving all relevant sectors. This proactive approach ensures continuous monitoring and troubleshooting. To further bolster operational effectiveness, Prime Minister Hun Manet established a problem-solving working group dedicated to addressing concerns for citizens, the private sector, and individual companies. Moreover, the government has devised comprehensive strategies, action plans, and key tasks to ensure the seamless execution of this policy.
