Techo Startup Centre Hosts Digital Business Expo to Drive Entrepreneurial Digital Transformation

Techo Startup Centre recently organized a two-day Digital Business Expo at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, focusing on the theme of Startup, Innovation, and Technology in the Context of the Digital Economy and Society. The event, held from November 22 to 23, received support from the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Capacity Building Research and Development Fund of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications.
The primary objectives of the expo were to advance the digital transformation of enterprises, promote entrepreneurship and startups, raise awareness among stakeholders, facilitate understanding of business processes and specialized license registration, expand the supportive network and strengthen the startup ecosystem, and connect entrepreneurs with innovation specialists.
Attended by representatives from relevant ministries and institutions, entrepreneurial support organizations, banking institutions, startups, educational institutions, development partners, enterprises, students, and the general public, the expo provided a platform for various institutions to showcase their products and services.
In addition to the exhibition, the event featured engaging presentations and in-depth discussions on key topics such as the digital economy, strategies and applications of technology in business operations, and government and stakeholder initiatives to support enterprises in adopting digital solutions.
The Digital Business Expo aimed to inspire and empower entrepreneurs, particularly the younger generation, who have a keen interest in building successful startups. By promoting entrepreneurship and fostering a greater understanding of the business and licensing processes, the expo played a significant role in encouraging the growth of startups in Cambodia’s evolving digital economy.
