Phnom Penh, June 30, 2025 — At the invitation of Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, the Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of Singapore, H.E. Lawrence Wong, will undertake an official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia on July 2, 2025.

According to an official press release issued on June 28, the visit marks a significant milestone as the two nations commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

During his stay, Prime Minister Wong will be granted a Royal Audience by His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh. He will also pay a courtesy call on Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of Cambodia.

A key highlight of the visit will be a bilateral meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet at the Peace Palace. The two leaders are expected to hold in-depth discussions aimed at further strengthening the enduring partnership between Singapore and Cambodia, with a focus on deepening economic collaboration, regional connectivity, digital innovation, education, and human resource development.

This high-level visit underscores the robust and evolving relationship between the two ASEAN member states, which have enjoyed decades of friendship, development cooperation, and mutual support.
