A delegation from the Women’s Business Council of the Philippines, led by its Chairperson Ms. Rosemarie P. Rafael, visited Cambodia to strengthen cooperation and foster business relationships with Cambodian women entrepreneurs.
On January 22, the delegation attended a reception dinner hosted by H.E. Ing Kantha Phavi, Minister of Women’s Affairs, at Kravanh Restaurant in Phnom Penh. The event served as a platform for women entrepreneurs from both countries to connect, share business experiences, and explore collaboration opportunities in key sectors, including agriculture, industry, handicrafts, education, health, tourism, transportation and logistics, retail, and manufacturing, according to the Ministry of Women’s Affairs.
During the gathering, H.E. Minister warmly welcomed the Philippine delegation and engaged in meaningful discussions with both Filipino and Cambodian entrepreneurs. The dialogue focused on exploring business and trade opportunities that could strengthen economic ties between the two nations.
Ms. Rosemarie P. Rafael expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to meet Cambodian entrepreneurs and emphasized the potential for future collaborations. She noted the support and enthusiasm from both sides, highlighting the prospects for forging strong and mutually beneficial business relationships.
The visit marks a significant step toward enhancing cooperation between women entrepreneurs in the Philippines and Cambodia, laying the groundwork for deeper ties and innovative partnerships across diverse industries.
