Kampot Province– December 13, 2024 – Khmer Enterprise and Aide et Action, in partnership with Enterprise Vision Academy, co-organized the business model showcase and closing event of the “Enterprise Solution Finders” Season 4 Round 2. The event was presided over by H.E. Dr. Chhieng Vanmunin, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Chief Executive Officer of Khmer Enterprise, Mr. Vorn Samphors, Country Director of Aide et Action, and attended by the co-founders of Enterprise Vision Academy, the coaches, all the graduates of ESF4 Round 1, and ESF alumni.
This one whole day event, started with entrepreneurs’ pitching in the morning, followed by awards and certificates handover in the afternoon, and ended by business networking in the evening that introduced two important activities, 1) one to one speed business meeting and 2) identify the 5 best business partners.
As a result, 19 entrepreneurs and 18 solution finders from 9 different provinces graduated from the program successfully. Among those, the top five entrepreneurs were awarded cash prizes to support the further development of their businesses (with three criteria 1) scoring on their learning progress 2) scoring on their improvement after the program by coaches and 3) scoring on their business plan presentation by juries) and all graduated entrepreneurs are going to become members of our Enterprise Friends club (Entrepreneurs network supported by Khmer Enterprise and created for continuing the relationship and learning).
H.E. Dr. Chhieng Vanmunin, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Chief Executive Officer of Khmer Enterprise, said, “An evolving entrepreneurial ecosystem required all types of support, particularly for entrepreneurs in provinces through programs that provide opportunities to showcase their business potential, fostering a new generation of entrepreneurs to drive the creation of innovative businesses.”
Mr. Vorn Samphors, Country Director of Aide et Action, stated that “We together invest in education, entrepreneurship and ecosystem development. Through this partnership of the ESF program, we are thrilled to see the development and innovative solutions of each entrepreneur that would contribute for the sustainable education, economics, environment, as well as the eco-tourism development for Cambodia.”
Mr. Seng Ratanakvisay, CEO of Enterprise Vision Academy, emphasized that ““In partnership with Khmer Enterprise and Aide et Action, our ESF has scaled up nationwide. Since 2020, our program has reached 21 provinces and supported 142 businesses and 240 ESF youths or right-hand entrepreneurs. We are very proud to have contributed to building a better entrepreneurial ecosystem in Cambodia, and we will continue to develop more entrepreneurial support programs.”
Enterprise Solution Finders (ESF) is a 15-week entrepreneurship capacity-building program that involves online self-learning videos, group and one-on-one coaching sessions, business plan development, and business pitches. Enterprise Friends.(E-Friends) is an entrepreneurs network for ESF alumni to continue their relationships, partnerships, and learning. ESF and E-Friends were launched in 2021 as a partnership between Khmer Enterprise and Enterprise Vision Academy to help entrepreneurs, mostly in the provinces, to improve their entrepreneurship skills and businesses.
