Cambodia and Azerbaijan Strengthen Ties for Health Sector Cooperation

by TBC

Cambodia and Azerbaijan are exploring opportunities for collaboration in the health sector, with plans to develop a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

This commitment was reaffirmed during a meeting on Jan. 30 between Cambodian Health Minister H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra and Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Cambodia, H.E. Shovgi Mehdizade, in Phnom Penh.

The proposed MoU aims to facilitate knowledge-sharing and expertise exchange in key health areas, including cancer treatment, tuberculosis management, and environmental health.

Both officials commended the significant progress in their respective countries and highlighted the MoU as a crucial step toward enhancing health cooperation between Cambodia and Azerbaijan.
