Cambodia and Japan Sign Grant Agreement for Geospatial Data Platform Development

On the morning of December 26, 2024, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and His Excellency UENO Atsushi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Cambodia, signed the Exchange of Notes and accompanying documents.

The agreement pertains to the extension of Grant Aid amounting to JPY 1,002,000,000 (approximately USD 7.2 million) for the implementation of the Economic and Social Development Programme. This program includes the Project for the Development of a Geospatial Data Platform aimed at promoting national land management and urban planning.
