Phnom Penh — Cambodia and Russia are set to convene the 11th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation (11th IGC) today, 28 April 2025, via video conference, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia on 27 April 2025.
The meeting will be co-chaired by His Excellency Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, and Her Excellency Oksana Lut, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
The session will review the progress made in the joint cooperation partnership between Cambodia and Russia over the past years and set future directions to further advance the long-standing relations between the two countries.
Both sides will conduct in-depth discussions to explore avenues for fostering and deepening cooperation across various sectors, including the economy, trade and investment, science, and technology.
The 11th IGC reflects the commitment of Cambodia and Russia to strengthening their partnership and expanding cooperation for mutual benefit.
