Phnom Penh – Bridge No. 28, the tallest bridge in Cambodia, has officially been completed and opened to the public as part of the National Road No. 10 project. The announcement was made by Phan Rim, Spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, confirming the bridge’s successful construction and full completion.
“Bridge No. 28, the tallest in Cambodia, is now open for public use as of 15 May 2025, marking a significant milestone in the National Road No. 10 project. We are proud to announce that the bridge construction has been completed 100%,” Phan Rim stated.
The bridge, which stands at an impressive height of 90 metres, spans 537 metres in length and 10 metres in width, crossing the Russei Chrum River in Chay Louk village, O’Som commune, Veal Veng district of Pursat province. Visitors can now travel across the bridge, stop for photos, and enjoy the scenic views of the structure, surrounded by mist, lush forests, and the cool, clear waters of the river.
The opening of Bridge No. 28 is expected to greatly enhance transportation in the region, contributing to improved connectivity and further development in Pursat province.
