The Minister underscored the importance of the Ministry’s flagship “Clean Environment Strategy,” which is structured around three pillars: Clean on Sky, Clean on Land, and Clean on Water. “Now, we are prioritizing solutions under ‘Clean on Water’, particularly focusing on modern wastewater treatment for residential, industrial, and urban areas. These solutions must not only meet technical standards but also remain cost-effective for both the public and investors,” said H.E. Dr. Sophalleth.
The Minister encouraged the visiting companies to consider establishing offices in Cambodia to begin feasibility studies and business development. He outlined key areas of opportunity, including the construction of wastewater treatment plants, the local manufacturing of liquid waste purification equipment, and the deployment of scalable technologies aligned with Cambodia’s green growth objectives.
In response, Mr. Li Wenjie praised Cambodia’s achievements in environmental protection and acknowledged the Ministry’s proactive approach, which he said was fostering a favorable environment for international collaboration and investment.
“Our companies are committed to environmental stewardship and have successfully delivered wastewater solutions in diverse markets including China, Indonesia, Dubai, and Thailand.
