The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports is set to establish an Artificial Intelligence (AI) research centre to enhance educational development.
This initiative was discussed in a meeting on March 3, chaired by H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports.
The centre aims to support teachers and students in using AI ethically while enhancing teaching and learning methods. It will particularly assist teachers in developing creative lesson plans for more effective instruction.
H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron expressed strong support for the initiative, emphasizing the need for seamless integration of AI across primary, secondary, and higher education. He also underscored the importance of aligning AI applications with current and future job market demands.
