The Deputy Prime Minister provided a comprehensive update on the evolving regional and international landscape and its ramifications for Cambodia. He also delved into the execution of the Royal Government of Cambodia’s foreign policy, aligned with the Pentagonal Strategy. The briefing included an overview of significant milestones in foreign affairs and international cooperation achieved over the six months following the inauguration of the current government on 22 August 2023.
A pivotal aspect of the discussion centered on bolstering the synergy and collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the National Assembly, with a particular focus on the 5th Commission. This exchange of views aimed at enhancing the mechanisms of cooperation and interaction to further Cambodia’s foreign policy objectives and its standing on the international stage.
