Khmer Enterprise has successfully organized the E-Friend & SMEs Meet-Up for Market and Funding in collaboration with Enterprise Vision Academy, one of the flagship programs under the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Campaign 2025. The event brought together entrepreneurs, SMEs, banks, investors, and major market operators with the shared goal of strengthening market access, unlocking financing pathways, and supporting sustainable business development.
Held as a dynamic and interactive platform, the meet-up enabled entrepreneurs and SME owners from across Cambodia to exchange knowledge, discuss market challenges, and build strategic business networks. Financial institutions, market operators, and investors engaged directly with participants, providing them with practical guidance and potential partnership opportunities.

Through a series of capacity-building sessions—including panel discussions, expert talks, and facilitated networking—participants gained essential insights on export readiness, financing mechanisms, brand development, and strategies to professionally present their business potential to banks, buyers, and investors. The event underscored the importance of strong branding and market preparedness as Cambodian SMEs increasingly position themselves for regional and global opportunities.
H.E. Dr. Chhieng Vanmunin, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as CEO of Khmer Enterprise, reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs nationwide. He stated that the Royal Government, through Khmer Enterprise, continues to promote market access for high-potential provincial SMEs by connecting them with major market operators, financial institutions, and investment groups. He emphasized that the initiative aims to strengthen the capacity, quality, and competitiveness of Cambodian products and services in both domestic and international markets.

Co-Founder of Enterprise Vision Academy, Mrs. Veal Helene, highlighted the importance of building support systems for entrepreneurs. She noted that many business owners struggle with isolation and limited access to guidance. E-Friends, supported by Khmer Enterprise, offers a warm and collaborative environment for provincial entrepreneurs to share challenges, seek solutions, and grow together. Beyond business acceleration, the platform encourages emotional resilience, trust-building, and continuous learning—critical elements for long-term competitiveness.

The event brought together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors, including AEON (Cambodia), Lucky Supermarket, Chief (Cambodia) Commercial Bank, Chip Mong Commercial Bank, the Cambodia Logistics Association, private investors, and a diverse group of SMEs. Their involvement underscored broad national support for strengthening Cambodia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and enhancing the competitiveness of local businesses.
The E-Friend & SMEs Meet-Up for Market and Funding forms a core part of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Campaign 2025, a multi-program initiative led by Khmer Enterprise. The campaign features nationwide business ideation competitions, startup and SME contests, thematic forums, workshops, and award ceremonies—each designed to provide entrepreneurs with access to knowledge, networks, and growth opportunities. Together, these initiatives aim to build a resilient, innovative, and market-ready generation of Cambodian entrepreneurs.

This event further reinforces Khmer Enterprise’s role as a key driver of Cambodia’s startup and SME development landscape, fostering collaboration between public and private sector actors and empowering entrepreneurs to scale sustainably.
