On the 8th of May, Cambodia’s Foreign Minister, His Excellency Sok Chenda Sophea, received Khalid Ali Abdullah Abel, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Cambodia, at his office in a cordial exchange that signified the growing ties between the two nations.
Since the formal initiation of diplomatic affiliations in 2008, Cambodia and Qatar have fostered an environment of mutual respect and cooperation. The meeting witnessed a reaffirmation of both parties’ intent to strengthen these ties and to provide reciprocal support in various international venues, keeping in mind the common goals and prosperity of both Cambodia and Qatar.
The meeting was marked by a significant consensus between the two diplomats: the intention to construct a steadfast bilateral consultation mechanism that will link the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries.
