Khmer Enterprise and Aide et Action, in partnership with Enterprise Vision Academy, co-organized the business model showcase and closing event of the “Enterprise Solution Finders” Season 4 Round 1. The event was presided over by H.E. Dr. Chhieng Vanmunin, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Chief Executive Officer of Khmer Enterprise, Mr. Vorn Samphors, Country Director of Aide et Action, and attended by the co-founders of Enterprise Vision Academy, the coaches, all the graduates of ESF4 Round 1, and ESF alumni.
The event was held one full-day, started with entrepreneurs’ pitching in the morning, followed by awards and certificates handover in the afternoon, and ended by business networking in the evening that introduced two important activities, 1) one to one speed business meeting and 2) identify the 5 best business matching.
As a result, 26 entrepreneurs and 26 solution finders from 13 different provinces graduated from the program successfully. Among those, the top five entrepreneurs were awarded cash prizes to support the further development of their businesses (with three criteria 1) scoring on their learning progress 2) scoring on their improvement after program by Coaches and 3) scoring on their business plan presentation by Jury) and all graduated entrepreneurs are going to become members of our Enterprise Friends club (Entrepreneurs network supported by Khmer Enterprise and created for continuing the relationship and learning).
H.E. Dr. Chhieng Vanmunin, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Chief Executive Officer of Khmer Enterprise, said, “As the national platform for promoting the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Cambodia, Khmer Enterprise works with local and international partners to design and implement various programs to support entrepreneurs across Cambodia. Enterprise Solution Finder’s unique proposition is giving the opportunity to potential entrepreneurs out there in the province to develop their entrepreneurial mindset and way of doing business in the 21st Century.
Mr. Vorn Samphors, Country Director of Aide et Action, stated that “we strongly believe in the transformative power of partnership. Together, invest in education, entrepreneurship and ecosystem development. Through this program, we aim to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and confidence seed investment they need to succeed in today’s competitive market. We are thrilled to see the innovative solutions that would contribute for the sustainable education, environment, as well as the eco-tourism development for Cambodia.”
Mr. Seng Ratanakvisay, CEO of Enterprise Vision Academy, emphasized that “with the support of Khmer Enterprise and Aide et Action, the program successfully reached entrepreneurs from all provinces. Over the past 4 months, we appreciate the learning efforts of our entrepreneurs this round and are very proud of the positive changes for all of them. They have built a strong foundation, developed business plans, and most importantly, embarked on a journey to discover a meaningful life that aligns with their efforts to make a significant impact on Cambodia and the world.”
Enterprise Solution Finders (ESF) is a 15-week entrepreneurship capacity-building program that involves online self-learning videos, group and one-on-one coaching sessions, business plan development, and business pitches. Enterprise Friends (E-Friends) is an entrepreneurs network for ESF alumni to continue their relationships, partnership and learning. ESF and E-Friends were launched in 2021 as a partnership between Khmer Enterprise and Enterprise Vision Academy to help entrepreneurs, mostly in the provinces, to improve their entrepreneurship skills and businesses.
