The Ministry of Commerce has been hosting The Cambodian and Import-Export Goods Exhibition (CIEG), a wholly government-run international trade exhibition, in Cambodia since 2005.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Commerce, the 15th annual Cambodian and Import-Export Goods Exhibition will take place from December 15 to 18 at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh.
The Ministry of Commerce will also host side events like a seminar on trade promotion, a business and investment forum, business matching, and a ceremony to sign memorandum of understanding (MOU) to encourage the growth of the private sector throughout the exhibition time.
The exhibition’s main goal is to encourage exports of goods and services, which would help the country’s economy grow, after trade and investment activities were temporarily halted due to Covid-19.
The abovementioned exhibition will present new possibilities for business connections between provincial and urban areas across Cambodia as well as between businesses operating in Cambodia and overseas.
The Ministry of Commerce said in its statement that it would like to take this opportunity to thank all local and foreign participants for their continued support and involvement.
The Ministry extends a hearty invitation to everyone to participate once again. To stimulate the development of trade in Cambodia, the Ministry of Commerce makes every effort to provide excellent services.
