Chen Zhi, Chairman of Prince Holding Group, donated $200,000 to the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation through the Prince Foundation. The continuous operations of the Kantha Bopha Hospitals, which provide free, high-quality medical care to children in the Kingdom, would benefit from this.
Representatives of Prince Holding Group received a briefing on the most recent advancements and results of previous donations during the handover ceremony. Each year, Kantha Bopha Hospitals provide healthcare for more than 500,000 children throughout Cambodia.
The donation will be used to upgrade five children’s hospitals’ infrastructure, put in new technology, and buy medical supplies. The donation will help the hospitals’ ongoing operations even more.
“The lives of the children in Cambodia have significantly improved because of the ongoing support of our many, valued donors. Every child deserves access to quality healthcare, and we are pleased that children from all backgrounds receive it at our hospitals “said H.E. Ros Seilava, Secretary of State for the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Director of the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation.
“We are proud to support this incredibly deserving cause because these hospitals have given countless children a fresh start in life. Let’s all work together to create a safe and peaceful atmosphere where kids may grow, giving them hope for the future” said Gabriel Tan, Chief Communications Officer of Prince Holding Group.
Since 2015, Prince Holding Group has actively supported Kantha Bopha Hospital with contributions reaching around $1 million.
The philanthropic arm of the Group, the Prince Foundation, has a strong focus on healthcare and youth development. It has improved school sanitation in Sihanoukville and established undergraduate student scholarship programs. The Foundation regularly engages with top non-governmental organizations and looks for opportunities to have a holistic and measurable impact on Cambodia’s future.
