A trade show was held in Kampong Speu to promote and market Cambodian products.

The 10th trade show was held in Kampong Speu with the goal of encouraging consumption and promoting local as well as Cambodian products.

The exhibition is held in the Kampong Speu Provincial Department of Commerce from July 22 to 24. Products, processed foods, and consumer items from Kampong Speu and surrounding provinces were displayed during the fair.

H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, presided over the inauguration ceremony, which included representatives from the various agencies and local businesspeople.

The Minister congratulated and thanked all officials of the Kampong Speu Provincial Department of Commerce for their efforts in organizing the yearly trade show. They worked well with all people involved.

The event promotes regional production activities and eases market access for Cambodian farmers who require assistance from local officials, relevant ministries, and Royal Government institutions.

In order to promote the consumption of Cambodian products and exports, Minister Sorasak advised all Capital-Provincial Departments of Commerce to work with local leaders and relevant organizations to conduct weekend markets and trade fairs as frequently as feasible.
