On 10 December 2024, H.E. Mr. KE Sovann, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, met with Mr. Michael Googan, Director of the Sanctions Listings and Litigation Section at the Australian Sanctions Office, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
During their discussions, the two sides exchanged views on effective approaches for implementing United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions and explored avenues to further enhance cooperation between Cambodia and Australia. The meeting underscored both nations’ commitment to upholding international obligations and fostering stronger bilateral relations.
