According to Guinness World Records, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (Cambodia) held the world’s largest practical business seminar on August 24, 2017, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with 2,304 participants. The attempt was made as part of a student engagement event.
Over 2,300 youth aged 15 to 24 from all over Cambodia attended a one-day seminar that included presentations from successful Khmer entrepreneurs.
The Guinness World Record is part of a campaign led by MoEYS and supported by the ILO/Japan Fund for Building Social Safety Nets in Asia and the Pacific (SSN Fund) to raise awareness of entrepreneurship as a road to decent work among Cambodian youth.
