Zhang Lianghong, Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Kimou Environmental Holding Limited, paid a courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on 9 April 2025 at the Peace Palace, where he expressed the company’s keen interest in exploring investment opportunities in Cambodia.
During the meeting, Zhang introduced the operations of Kimou Environmental Holding Limited, a joint-stock company registered in Hong Kong. The company specialises in the development of large-scale industrial parks, with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. He noted that Cambodia offers significant potential for future investment, particularly in sectors aligned with green and sustainable development.
Prime Minister Hun Manet welcomed the company’s interest and reaffirmed the Royal Government’s commitment to fostering sustainable development, environmental protection, and the improvement of livelihoods. He highlighted the government’s policies and incentives designed to attract foreign direct investment, especially in the manufacturing and supply chain sectors.
Samdech Thipadei encouraged Kimou Environmental Holding to explore opportunities within Cambodia’s supply chain ecosystem, noting that such investments could add value to local industries and enhance the country’s global competitiveness. He also advised the company to continue engaging with relevant ministries and institutions to better understand the regulatory environment and sector-specific opportunities in Cambodia.
