Young people aged 15 to 30 account for roughly a third of Cambodia’s population. This group is the future of Cambodia and can bring a positive change to the country if given skills support.

Journey within our Community (JWOC) works with youth by collaborating and investing in their education, bridging the gap and supporting them in accomplishing goals.

The Story of Journeys Within Our Community (JWOC)

Brandon and Andrea Ross, founders of JWOC, moved to Cambodia from the United States in 2005 with a dream of starting a boutique hotel. While setting up the boutique They realised the Skill gap and moved to working as an intermediary after observing the population’s needs and travelers’ desire to help. They’ve discovered that focusing on education is the most effective way to help Cambodian youth enhance their future and become community leaders.

With their continuous effort and support from the likeminded partners, today JWOC is happy to be at the forefront of youth issues in Siem Reap. With over 15 years of experience JWOC has evolved to be one of the sought-after organizations among the Cambodian youth who seek educational support, Skill enhancement and career guidance.
