VERIFY.GOV.KH, the Cambodian Government’s official document verification platform, developed by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), has been awarded a Gold Medal at the prestigious ASEAN Digital Awards 2024. The ceremony took place in Singapore, coinciding with the 4th ASEAN Digital Ministers Meeting (ADGMIN), which saw participation from Digital Ministers of the ASEAN Member States, Timor-Leste, and partners from the Republic of Korea, China, Japan, India, the United States, and the International Telecommunications Union.
This year, the competition was fierce with 125 digital initiatives from the 10 ASEAN Member States vying for recognition. VERIFY.GOV.KH stood out in the Public Sector category, demonstrating exceptional performance through rigorous rounds of evaluation. Its selection and subsequent victory underscore the platform’s pivotal role in enhancing the delivery of public services through digital solutions within the ASEAN region for the year 2024. This accolade not only highlights Cambodia’s innovative strides in digital governance but also sets a benchmark for digital excellence in the public sector across Southeast Asia.
