On May 20, 2019, Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen announced via social media that he and his wife had donated $30,000 to the mother of famed singer and actor Panhasit. The announcement came after news reports of Panhasit’s mother being unable to pay for her son’s medical treatment.

On April 20, Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen’s personal assistant contacted Panhasit directly to let him know that the prime minister would be making a donation of 30,000 USD to his family. The next day, Panhasit was able to confirm that he had received the funds in his account and was overjoyed by this kind gesture from the PM.

The donation has been hailed as a kind-hearted gesture by the public, especially after it was revealed that Panhasit’s mother would not have been able to afford the treatment otherwise.

The significance of this donation is that it is a kind hearted gesture from a leader who cares about his people. The Prime Minister has made it clear that he wants to help those in need, and this donation shows how important it is for us as individuals to do the same.

It’s easy to forget about those less fortunate than ourselves, but we should all remember that there are people out there who need our help. If you see someone struggling with something or having trouble getting by financially, don’t hesitate–take action! You never know what impact one small act could have on someone else’s life

Samdech Hun Sen’s announcement of the donation made via Facebook is a powerful example of social media’s ability to reach out to those in need. Social media can be used as an effective tool for raising awareness and helping others, especially when it comes to humanitarian issues like this one.

The response of the public has been overwhelmingly positive. Many people have applauded Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen’s kind gesture, and taken it as an example of how important it is to support those in need.

Many people have also commented on how this act of kindness shows that even powerful leaders can be humble and compassionate when they choose to be so.

In the context of Cambodia, the role of Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen is to lead by example. He has been doing this since he came into power, and continues to do so today. He takes care of his people by providing them with food, shelter and other necessities when they need it most.

The government does not only help those who are poor or sick; it also helps those who have suffered from natural disasters such as floods or earthquakes by providing immediate aid such as tents for shelter or food packages until they can return home safely again after having rebuilt their homes themselves (if possible).

The kindness and compassion of Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen is an example for all of us to follow. He has shown that it is possible to make a difference in the lives of others, even if it means going above and beyond what is expected of him as a leader. This story demonstrates how social media can be used as a tool for good, by spreading awareness about the issues facing Cambodia’s needy people.
