Twenty officials from the Ministry of Interior will attend the “Cyber Crime Investigation and Cyber Forensic” course from 28 January to 3 February 2026. The training will strengthen Cambodia’s ability to detect, investigate, and prevent cybercrime. Another twenty officials from the Ministry of Planning will join the “Subnational Statistics Using Administrative Data” course from 27 January to 7 February 2026. This program will enhance the use of administrative data for local planning and evidence-based policy-making.
Ambassador Vanlalvawna Bawitlung welcomed the participants, highlighting the importance of knowledge sharing and international collaboration. Senior Minister Chhay Sinarith thanked the Indian government for supporting Cambodia’s institutional and technological growth.
These programs build on previous training initiatives between the two countries. Recently, twenty officials from the National Authority for Combating Drugs completed training on countering illegal drug trafficking at the National Academy of Customs, Excise, and Narcotics in India. Other Cambodian officers have also trained in governance, public policy, and judicial administration.
