Two prominent Chinese firms, Heli-Eastern and Amber Aviation Limited, have expressed their keen interest in expanding their business operations and strengthening cooperation within ASEAN, particularly in Cambodia.
This development was disclosed during a recent visit by Mr. Lao Nguon Eng, Commercial Attaché at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to the companies’ headquarters in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, People’s Republic of China. The Ministry of Commerce released a statement confirming the visit on January 9.
Heli-Eastern specializes in the production and delivery of various types of drones in China, including models designed for urban transport and agricultural purposes. The company also offers urban air services in the Greater Bay Area, which includes Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.
Amber Aviation Limited, on the other hand, provides premium aviation services using private jets for passenger transport across ASEAN. The firm has been actively enhancing cooperation with ASEAN member states, including Cambodia, as part of its expansion strategy.
Both Heli-Eastern and Amber Aviation Limited have shown particular interest in expanding their presence in Cambodia, focusing on private flight services while aiming to strengthen close business ties with the country.
