Phnom Penh – The Ministry of Tourism welcomed a significant step toward modernizing Cambodia’s tourism industry as H.E. Mr. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, received Mr. Li Jianxin, representative of Ennova Holding Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of ENN Group China, and his delegation for a courtesy call at the Ministry headquarters.
During the meeting, the delegation requested cooperation, support, and coordination from the Ministry to advance its project of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with major tourism associations in Cambodia. The initiative seeks to implement and apply artificial intelligence (AI) in Cambodia’s tourism sector, aiming to enhance services, strengthen efficiency, and elevate visitor experiences.
H.E. Minister Huot Hak praised the proposal, describing it as an important initiative to introduce advanced information technology into the tourism industry. He emphasized the Ministry’s support and commitment to facilitate the company’s collaboration with key Cambodian tourism associations. The agreement is expected to align with the spirit of the “Cambodia–China Tourism Year 2025,” endorsed by the leaders of both nations, and contribute to boosting arrivals of Chinese and international visitors to Cambodia.
