Prince Abdulaziz will lead the Saudi delegation to the OCA meetings in Cambodia.

Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) and Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), will lead the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation to the OCA Executive Board and General Assembly, which begins today and will last two days in Cambodia.

Prince Fahd Bin Jalwi Bin Abdulaziz Bin Musaed, vice president of the SOPC, member of the executive board, and president of the OCA education committee, is among the Saudi delegation.

In the presence of NEOM CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr, the SOPC is represented by board members Prince Abdullah Bin Fahd Bin Abdullah and Adwa Al-Arifi as part of 2029 TROJENA, which is a candidate to host the Asian Winter Games.

During their participation, Saudi delegates will evaluate the TROJENA file for hosting the Asian Winter Games in 2029 before voting for the host during the general assembly meeting on Tuesday, where the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presented its proposal to host the games in August.

TROJENA, a global mountainous tourist destination in NEOM, will be the first city in Western Asia to host the winter event, following China, Japan, South Korea, and Kazakhstan.

The panel will also go over Riyadh’s preparations to host the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games and the Asian Games in 2025. (Riyadh 2034).

The General Assembly will also go through the OCA’s financial and administrative reports, as well as the latest developments in China’s Hangzhou, Zhejiang preparations to host the Asian Games in 2023.
