On the 19th of August 2024, a pivotal internal meeting was convened by His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, focusing on two major regional projects: the Funan Techo Canal Project and the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area (CLV-DTA). This meeting held at the ministry headquarters was primarily aimed at briefing all ministry officials about the latest developments and strategic importance of these projects in strengthening regional cooperation and development.
The Deputy Prime Minister, who spearheaded the discussions, emphasized the critical role of these initiatives in promoting sustainable development and enhancing connectivity between the three neighboring countries.
