The trade, investment, and tourism exhibition of the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam (CLV) Development Triangle Area, a pivotal event for regional cooperation, commenced in Attapeu, a southern province of Laos, marking the beginning of a dynamic showcase that will continue until Friday. This significant event is part of the 13th meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee on CLV Development Triangle Area, underscoring the collaborative spirit of the three nations.

The inauguration of the exhibition was graced by the presence of distinguished officials, ministers, and business magnates from the 13 provinces that constitute the development triangle. These include Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, and Binh Phuoc from Vietnam; Sekong, Attapeu, Salavan, and Champasak from Laos; along with Stung Treng, Rattanakiri, Mondulkiri, and Kratie from Cambodia, highlighting the collective endeavor towards regional prosperity.

Featuring 118 booths, the exhibition is a vibrant tapestry of local craftsmanship, showcasing an array of traditional handicrafts, fine arts, and agricultural produce. It stands as a testament to the rich cultural heritage and the burgeoning economic opportunities within the region. Furthermore, the event acts as a conduit for disseminating information about the tourism allure of the area, inviting exploration and discovery.

Vietnamese enterprises, in particular, have seized this opportunity to present an assortment of high-quality organic agricultural exports such as bananas, green pomelos, pineapples, and organic sugar. These offerings have piqued the interest of many, drawing a considerable crowd of locals and tourists alike, keen on sampling the premium produce.

The exhibition’s opening night was a spectacle of cultural celebration, attracting tens of thousands of participants. Attendees were treated to an immersive experience, reveling in shopping opportunities and enjoying musical performances that highlighted the shared cultural legacy and unity of Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. This event not only fosters trade and investment but also strengthens the bonds of friendship and cooperation among the three countries, setting a foundation for future growth and development in the CLV Development Triangle Area.
