With an impressive roster of participants from 25 provincial capitals alongside the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of National Defence, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the event expects to welcome a total of 4,522 participants, encompassing athletes, officials, and coaches.
Diving into the heart of the competition, the 4th National Games is set to feature a diverse array of 36 sports. Sports enthusiasts and participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in a broad range of disciplines such as football, volleyball, basketball, athletics, and more, with a total of 328 disciplines set for contention.
Meanwhile, the 2nd National Para Games promises an inclusive and spirited competition across 13 sports categories. This segment is uniquely designed to highlight the athletic prowess and competitive spirit of participants across various disciplines, including athletics, swimming, wheelchair basketball, and more, offering a total of 55 disciplines.
With venues spread across Phnom Penh, Kep, Sihanoukville, Kampong Chhnang, and Svay Rieng provinces, the organization of the games demonstrates an extensive collaborative effort. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, and various National Sports Federations have come together to ensure the events not only celebrate athletic excellence but also embody the rich cultural and communal life of Cambodia.
