Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Prak Sokhonn, held bilateral talks with Brunei’s Foreign Minister II, Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof, during a regional ASEAN meeting. The discussion was part of ongoing diplomatic engagements among Southeast Asian countries.
The meeting focused on strengthening the long-standing relationship between Cambodia and Brunei. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining friendly ties and expanding cooperation through ASEAN frameworks. Diplomatic relations between the two countries have remained stable for several decades.
During the talks, the ministers exchanged views on key regional and international issues. They highlighted the importance of cooperation in supporting peace, stability, and development in Southeast Asia. The role of ASEAN as a platform for dialogue and coordination was also discussed.
