Cambodia’s Ministry of Information has announced a nationwide digital modernisation initiative that will provide dedicated websites to all 25 municipal and provincial Departments of Information. The move is aimed at strengthening public communication, improving information management, and supporting a more connected national digital data system.
The announcement was made by Minister Neth Pheaktra during the closing ceremony of a two-day training programme titled “Website Usage and Protection” held on May 19 in Phnom Penh.
Websites to Improve Information Access and Data Management
According to the ministry, the newly introduced websites will serve as official digital platforms for storing and managing documents, official records, announcements, and departmental information securely.
