Ministry of Commerce to Showcase at Cambodia Trade Fair in Japan

by Surya Narayan

The Ministry of Commerce has announced its participation in the upcoming Cambodia Trade Fair, a key component of “The 8th Cambodia Festival 2024,” scheduled for May 3-4, 2024, at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan. This involvement underscores the ministry’s commitment to fostering international trade relationships and showcasing Cambodian products and services on a global stage.

With the generous support and coordination of the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Tokyo, this initiative aims to bridge Cambodian businesses with international markets, particularly in Japan. The trade fair, aligned with the broader Cambodia Festival, offers a unique platform for cultural exchange and business networking.

The organizing committee has allocated complimentary booth spaces, each measuring 19.44 square meters, to the Ministry of Commerce. These spaces are intended for distribution among Cambodian companies, providing them an opportunity to present their products and services to an international audience, and engage in business meetings.

In light of this opportunity, the Ministry of Commerce extends an invitation to all interested Cambodian businessmen and entrepreneurs to participate in this event. Those looking to explore international market avenues, especially in Japan, will find this an invaluable chance to expand their reach and understand global market trends.

For more information or to express interest in participating, the Ministry of Commerce encourages potential participants to contact the Department of Exhibition Affairs within the General Directorate of Trade Promotion. Interested parties can reach out via phone at 087 755 551 or 012 777 959, or through email at ritatong19@gmail.com or cheaputhea@yahoo.com.

This participation not only highlights the Ministry of Commerce’s proactive approach to international trade promotion but also reflects Cambodia’s growing influence and presence in global markets. By facilitating such platforms, the Ministry aims to enhance Cambodia’s trade relations, promote its rich cultural heritage, and stimulate economic growth through increased international exposure.
