H.E. HEM Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation, met with Mrs. Miranda Andruccioli, representative of the World Economic Forum (WEF), on April 3 in Phnom Penh to discuss support for the WEF’s Global Value Chain Survey and broader areas of cooperation.
During the meeting, H.E. Vanndy emphasized Cambodia’s strong commitment to enhancing its industrial competitiveness as the nation prepares for its graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) status by the end of 2029. He called on the WEF to provide technical assistance and analytical support to help Cambodia adapt to evolving market demands amid global supply chain disruptions.
Mrs. Andruccioli shared an overview of WEF’s wide-ranging initiatives, including those focused on sustainability, climate change, economic growth, health, and technology governance. She welcomed the Ministry’s participation not only in the Global Value Chain Survey but also in WEF-led studies, workshops, and international forums.
