Solomon Airlines adds new flight routes.

Solomon Airlines will launch a weekly round-trip flight from Brisbane to Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu, starting 4 July. This new route is crucial after Air Vanuatu ceased operations in May due to liquidation, halting all flights. Adela Issachar Aru, CEO of the Vanuatu Tourism Office, welcomed this development as a positive step for regional air connectivity. Solomon Airlines also operates two weekly flights between Brisbane and Port Vila via Honiara, promoting tourism and trade. Air Vanuatu, founded in 1981, served as a vital link between Vanuatu and international destinations before its liquidation.
