PHNOM PENH — The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) has announced that the Kingdom will host the upcoming Black Swan Summit this November, convening high-level policymakers, financial institutions, and technology leaders.
Co-hosted by the NBC and the Global Finance & Technology Network, in collaboration with the Cambodian Association of Finance & Technology, the summit will run concurrently with the 20th Francophone Summit and FrancoTech in Phnom Penh.
Bridging ASEAN and Francophone Markets Through Fintech
The high-level event is designed to foster economic bridges and strengthen financial integration between ASEAN and Francophone markets using advanced financial technology. Discussions will center on digital transformation, financial inclusion, and regional cooperation, highlighting innovations such as Cambodia’s national Bakong payment system.
NBC Governor Chea Serey noted that the summit will provide an international platform to showcase how developing nations can accelerate their digital infrastructure journeys. The gathering aims to facilitate strategic dialogues, expert presentations, and targeted workshops for delegates from French-speaking countries and across the ASEAN region.
